Amaz0ng Delivery Simulator is a first person delivery simulation game in which the player manages annoying tasks to keep the delivery robot from running out of battery before completing the goal. It is a TAGD 2022 Spring Semester Game Jam submission that I created with two other people, and the theme of the game jam was "Descent into Madness".

For this game, I was the lead programmer and project lead. I implemented core gameplay mechanics such as the random generation of tasks and how the player would complete them.
During the development of the game, I discovered that programming the tasks to be integrated within the UI of the game provided better ways for the player to interact and feel engaged, which meant that the player is more emotionally connected to his or her performance.

The varying difficulties of the tasks and their impact on the battery health created balance issues, especially since the tasks are meant to frustrate the player to the extreme. Working on this game gave me a lot of experience and insight in designing a game that is both challenging and fun.

This project also gave me crucial experience in leading a team of members with different skillsets and gave me the knowledge on how to manage a variety of problems with task distribution.
